Strange Luve Negroni

History & Recipe

The story of the Negroni begins at the Caffè Casoni in Florence. There's no documented historical account, but it is believed by cocktailians that Count Camillo Negroni invented the drink when he ordered an Americano made with gin in place of the usual soda water. Negroni is prepared directly in a cooled tumbler and perfectly blends equal parts of gin, rosso vermouth and bitters for a punchy drink. Pour it in a glass over a few ice cubes and garnish the glass with half an orange slice or a piece of zest (citrus outer peel).

Our story

Ready to drink cocktails are a hype and we think it's here to stay. Many people don't know how to make a proper cocktail or just don't feel like it. That's why we tried to help everyone out. You don't need to go to your local bar or buy all the ingredients yourself, you just need Strange Luve negroni and some ice cubes! This cocktail was carefully crafted by our R&D department together with some renowend mixologists.

Design

As our Strange Luve range already has some fierce ladies on the front, we added a new one with fruits in her hair that resemble the taste of this delicious cocktail like oranges for example. The bold copper "Negroni" letters also make a statement. This is not a gin but a read-to-drink cocktail with Strange Luve gin added.
